Compensation:

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $52,800 - $60,060 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.

Areas of Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Program Coordination & Oversight:

  • Ensure high-quality service delivery in the Community Outreach Services Department, including staff training, crisis intervention, and supervision.

  • Maintain a welcoming and organized Family Engagement Center.

  • Review, assess, and assign new program referrals while ensuring compliance with county contracts.

  • Monitor and track billable service hours, ensuring accuracy in documentation and reporting.

  • Keep leadership informed on program activities, case updates, and billing requirements.

Staff Supervision & Support:

  • Supervise and provide training to Family Support Specialists, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

  • Conduct individual and group supervision at least once per month, including performance improvement plans when necessary.

  • Lead staff meetings, oversee scheduling, and ensure timely submission of documentation.

  • Approve and audit timesheets, billing sheets, progress notes, and reports for supervisees.

  • Research and develop new tools and resources to support families and clients.

Direct Client Support:

  • Provide Fee-For-Service support and step in as a backup for Family Support Specialists when needed.

  • Conduct home visits and coaching services, including nights and weekends.

  • Ensure safety, accountability, and adherence to treatment plans for families.

  • Transport clients to and from visitations, activities, and appointments as needed.

  • Maintain professional and trauma-informed interactions with clients and families.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Write and maintain progress notes, monthly reports, incident reports, and discharge summaries in a timely manner.

  • Ensure accurate billing, tracking, and submission for services provided.

  • Participate in Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) initiatives and monitor program budgets.

  • Track, review, and approve all program-related reports for accuracy.

Collaboration & Community Engagement:

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clinicians, and external partners to support family services.

  • Represent the program in meetings, presentations, and external partnerships.

  • Ensure smooth coordination of the Nurturing Parent Group, including staff coverage and billing accuracy.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 23 years of age.

  • Must have a valid CO driver's license or have the ability to obtain one.

  • Must meet agency MVR criteria.

  • Must be willing to pass FBI fingerprint & child abuse database background checks.

  • Experience in counseling, mental health, social services, psychology, behavioral health and human services as a counselor, therapist, mental health technician, mental health therapist, mental health counselor and/or substance abuse counselor is a plus!
