Meet Jason!
Meet Jason Brown, Area Director and Franchisee of Jersey Mike’s. Jason has been a member of our Advisory Board for almost 10 years. It all started back in 2013 when Jason first heard about Shiloh House.
“One of our regulars at Jersey Mike’s was a volunteer at Shiloh. On one of his usual visits, I struck up a conversation with him as I usually did and asked about his plans for the rest of the week. He mentioned he was going over to Shiloh to wash vans. I asked him what Shiloh was and he told me all about Shiloh House and what they do in the community. We shared some similar passions to help people and he asked if he could introduce me to the leadership at Shiloh, and the rest is history.”
March is Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving, and Jason was an integral part in advocating for Shiloh House to be chosen as the charity of choice for 40 locations across Colorado for this month of giving. During the month of March, customers can make a donation to Shiloh House at participating Jersey Mike’s restaurants. The Month of Giving campaign will culminate with Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” on Wednesday, March 29th, when local Jersey Mike’s restaurants will give 100% of the day’s sales, not just profit, to Shiloh House!
On Day of Giving, local Jersey Mike’s owners and operators throughout the country will donate their resources and every single dollar that comes in to more than 200 different charities including hospitals, youth organizations, food banks and more. “ At Jersey Mike’s our company motto is Give to Give. Not to get something in return, but give because we can, because we should, it’s the right thing to do. God will take care of the rest.”
Jason truly has a heart for our community and demonstrates selfless service in everything he does. “Community means family to me. Helping each other because we’re all in this together and we all play a role based on what God has planned for us. For some, we are blessed to be a blessing and take that role seriously.”
Jason is involved with a number of charities and organizations across the world, making a lasting impact on so many.
We are so grateful to call Jason a member of our Shiloh Family. He embodies our mission and values every day!
“I believe in the mission of Shiloh. I’ve come to know the leadership personally over the last 10 years and see their heart for the communities they serve. They’re genuine and passionate to make a difference in the lives of young people that so desperately need help.”
