Parents as Teachers (PAT)

Parents as Teachers (PAT) is an evidenced-based home visitation program for families with children from prenatal through Kindergarten age. PAT’s trained parent educators, also known as home visitors, make monthly home visits, offering child development information, parenting strategies, annual developmental screenings, activities to promote school readiness, and connections to community resources. Below are categories addressed during a PAT home visit.
