Shiloh Home, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Specialist for our Family Resource Pavilion in Centennial, CO. The Family Resource Pavilion includes a school, respite facility, event center, café open for lunch and a coffee shop open all day. The position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, has catering/banquet experience, and has creativity with menu selections!

Compensation:

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is $20.33 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing all meals served at Shiloh Home, Inc., with emphasis on nutrition balance on a daily basis.

  • Delivering and coordinating food serving (Monday – Friday) for all meals or as instructed by supervisor.

  • Cooking and setting up for special events and programs for Shiloh on an as needed basis.

  • Receiving all donations and supplies from various vendors on an ongoing basis.

  • Food inventory on an ongoing basis.

  • Placing food orders.

  • Developing menus for breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner with food production records and recipes to match breakfast, lunch and snack.

  • Ensuring safe working areas.

  • The employee is held to ROAP & USDA standards, production records, and administrative review to stay compliant with state regulations.

Schedule:

  • Must have flexible hours based on catering needs

Requirements:

  • Must have at least four years food preparation experience in a restaurant or institutional setting and/or a four year degree in food and nutrition.

  • Catering/banquet serving a plus.

  • Must have organizational skills.

  • Must be flexible.

  • Must have clean MVR.

  • Must hold a valid Colorado driver’s license or the ability to obtain one.

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
