Shiloh Academy Day Treatment

The Shiloh House Day Treatment Program is designed for youth ages 7-18 facing challenges in the public school system, the legal system, or transitioning to a less restrictive environment. Day treatment offers daily therapeutic intervention to support youth who are learning the necessary social and behavioral skills to succeed at home, in school, and in the community.

Shiloh House’s treatment & education team supports credit recovery, social skill development, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills in an environment that respects continuing education. Shiloh House provides each youth with a challenging, academically sound educational experience that is aimed at maintaining and/or improving academic, vocational, and social functioning. Shiloh House on-grounds schools have the capacity to develop future educational options and are licensed by the Colorado State Department of Education, and accredited by the North Central Association.

Shiloh Academy’s mission is to create and maintain a safe learning environment to provide every child the opportunity to gain the necessary skills to access their least restrictive environment and obtain academic success.

Shiloh Academy’s vision of the educational process is to create and provide a supportive, and highly structured environment while providing small class sizes, differentiated inquiry-based instruction, and a creative hands-on learning environment to educate our students to provide them with the tools to become contributing members of society.

Shiloh Academy provides specialized on-grounds education to assist youth in developing the necessary academic and social skills needed to re-enter a less restrictive environment and/or earn a high school diploma. Shiloh Academy provides each youth with a challenging, academically sound educational experience to remediate, maintain, and/or improve academic, vocational, and social functioning. Shiloh Academy’s schools have the capacity to assist students in future educational options and transitional decisions. Specialized and regular education programming is offered to the youth participating in Shiloh Academy’s residential and day treatment programs with locations in Littleton, Longmont, Thornton, Adams County, and Centennial. Certified, licensed teachers provide instruction for students requiring a more structured classroom setting that addresses the behavioral issues, academic needs, and individualized circumstances that interfere with learning in a traditional classroom. Accreditation is a set of rigorous protocols and research-based processes for evaluating an institution’s organizational effectiveness. Accreditation examines the whole institution’s programs, the cultural context, and the community of stakeholders to determine how well the parts work together to meet the needs of students.
