Compensation
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is between $19.01-$23.76 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities
Provide parent education through regular personal visits implementing the Parents as
Teachers Foundational 1 and 2 curriculum for families prenatally through kindergarten entry
Assess family’s needs and provide developmentally appropriate information, guidance, and support to parents
Work with the PAT team to organize, plan, coordinate, and facilitate monthly group connections
Plan, provide, and document personal visits focused on parent-child interaction, development-centered parenting, and family well-being
Use the PAT Foundational curriculum to share research-based information with families
Maintain and submit in a timely way all required family and program documentation to meet program fidelity and funder requirements.
Participate in at least 2 hour of reflective supervision monthly and at least 2 hours of staff meetings monthly
Obtain competency-based professional development and renew parent educator certification annually
Schedule
Flexible schedule with the ability to meet with families on weekends or evenings when needed
Full time and part time available
Requirements
High school diploma (or equivalent) and two years of experience working with families and/or children.
Bilingual preferred
Current PAT Certification preferred.
Good understanding and foundation of child development birth-five years old.
Knowledge of community resources and systems
Enjoy teaching, educating and empowering youth with care and compassion
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Google documents.
Valid Colorado Driver’s License and proof of valid vehicle insurance.
Must be willing to pass FBI fingerprint & child abuse database background checks.
