Compensation:
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $23.00-$28.75 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.

Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday
Wednesday: 9am-10pm
Thursday: 2:30pm-10pm
Friday: 2:30pm-10pm
Saturday: 9am-10pm
Responsibilities:
Remain alert and awake at all times
Work with MA level Clinicians and Special Education Teachers on a daily basis
Collaborate within the framework of the client's treatment team in the completion of instructional activities and behavior management
Implement and maintain structure within the program and create/follow a routine
Provide intensive supervision, documentation, and organization
Utilize strong verbal de-escalation and positive strong boundaries
Basic meal preparation and light housekeeping
Conduct daily room inspections and 15-minute bed checks with a focus on safety and security
Transport clients to and from school, activities, appointments, etc.
Attend treatment team and required trainings
Document incidents, shift summaries, behaviors and any other necessary items.
Responsible for working with youth who have emotional and behavioral issues resulting from trauma and neglect, and who display verbal and physical aggression.
All other tasks as assigned
Requirements
Must have a professional mentality
Must have a Bachelor's Degree and/or 2 years experience working with the youth
Proficiency in both Spanish and English languages is preferred
Must be at least 23 years of age (will consider 21 years of age)
Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with a clean motor vehicle record
Must be willing to pass FBI fingerprint & child abuse database background checks
Due to the short length of stay for these clients, mastery of direct care skills are a must
Please note, this position is internally referred to as an Overnight Treatment Counselor.
