Compensation: In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary for this Colorado position is $90,000-$95,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assessing organizational performance against both the historical financials and the company’s long-term strategy.
  • Developing tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO/DCEO
  • Engaging the Management Team around issues, trends, and changes in the operating model(s) and operational performance.
  • Ensuring that financial management systems, banking relationships (i.e., terms and conditions), credit functions, and cash management meet the needs of the company
  • Overseeing long-term budgetary planning and cost management and manages cash flow and forecasting.
  • Analyzing and project grant spending on an ongoing basis.
  • Streamlining and modifying current systems within the business and administrative departments on an ongoing basis.
  • Preparing, analyzes, and presents program budgets and completes financial statement analysis for company profit and loss discussions.
  • Handling financial reports, general ledger, cash disbursement, cash receipts, and journal entries for Shiloh on an on-going basis.
  • Assisting in the preparation of yearly audit schedules, audit completion, and audit review.
  • Overseeing monthly payroll including payroll tax deposits, salary payroll completion, hourly payroll review, and payroll submittal.
  • Tracking and administration of the Shiloh 403b plan as well as prepares information and facilitates completion of the annual 403b audit.
  • Ensuring that all financial systems, controls and policies are in compliance with all governmental agencies and tax requirements and meet the needs of the company.
  • Utilizing strong leadership and interpersonal skills to improve efficiencies and effectiveness within the finance function and across the organization as a whole
  • Providing leadership and direction regarding the development of the overall financial strategy for the company
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or an accounting-related field or a minimum of six years of business work experience will also be accepted.
  • Must have a strong value system and the highest level of personal and professional integrity.
  • Flexibility and ability to complete a myriad of tasks as assigned in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Must have sound knowledge in financial accounting and reporting and of the controllership function, auditing and financial systems design.
  • Must be a mature, personable individual with significant personal presence, credibility and positive demeanor.
  • Must have balanced financial and administrative acumen and extraordinary business judgment and insight.
  • Must have integrity, intelligence, good judgment and effective decision-making abilities as well as diligence and attention to detail
  • Must have computer literacy and advanced spreadsheet skills
  • Must have a good working knowledge of operational accounting (production, revenue, capital)
  • Must have clean MVR,
  • Musth hold a valid Colorado driver’s license or the ability to obtain one.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
