At Shiloh House we feel so lucky to be part of a community that gives back. Shiloh House’s motto is “Community – It’s what we are. It’s where we are.” This motto stands for the value we see in keeping youth in their community as they receive the support they need. We always strive to help youth heal in a homelike setting, and maintain a sense of belonging in their communities. It makes all the difference when the youth we serve see people from their community taking time out of their day to help them in some way. Whether it’s baking cookies for a picnic or pulling weeds in front of a residential house; both big and small acts of service are received warmly by the kids, and make an impact as we work together to build up our community.

All of this community support motivates the youth at Shiloh House to give back to other nonprofits and worthy causes as well! The young people we serve love spending time with animals at the Denver Dumb Friends League, spending time playing games with people in nursing homes, and even serving at the local food bank.

We want to give a big thank you to Kroenke Sports, Summit Church, Ibotta, Arapahoe Community College, Red Rocks Church, Red Rocks youth group, Charles Schwab, Target and Xactly for taking the time to volunteer at Shiloh House. These partners have gone above and beyond to serve youth in our community, and we’re so grateful!
