At Shiloh House, the Holidays are a very important time of year. We aim to give our kids an amazing holiday, and we couldn’t do it without our volunteers. We want to share this feedback from a family that has worked with us through this Holiday season:

“It’s been a blessing the past few months to volunteer with the Shiloh House organization. The good that they do for youth in our community warms my heart! The amazing people helping these kids are making such a difference for good.

My family and I wanted to help those in need this Christmas and when we heard that some of the Shiloh House kids needed some gifts, we were excited to help. We have 5 kids of our own, ages 5-16 and they wanted to do their part to help others this holiday season. My husband and I talked to them about the importance of giving rather than receiving and they agreed to receive less this Christmas so that we could get presents for kids that are in need. They did extra chores around the house and put their allowance money the past 2 months towards purchasing these special gifts. We were able to save $200 and it was such a neat experience to thoughtfully choose gifts that would bring a smile to the faces of these kids on Christmas. As we delivered these gifts to the wonderful ladies working at Shiloh House, our hearts were filled with the joy of the true meaning of Christmas!”
